The trailer follows four soldiers struggling to survive on Venus. Red and black visuals represent the planet’s heat, danger, mystery, and darkness. Facing fear, exhaustion, and madness, they journey through endless storms toward the distant Sun Dome—their only hope for warmth and safety.
How I Created “The Long Rain”
The process began with developing the story and creating detailed prompts using ChatGPT. Gemini and Whisk were then used to generate character designs, environments, and key visual references. These visuals were developed into animated scenes using Flow, with prompts refined to achieve the desired cinematic look and movement. Finally, all scenes were edited together in CapCut, where audio, sound effects, transitions, and timing were added to complete the trailer.
Key learnings
This project helped me understand how to build a complete creative workflow with AI, from story development and prompt writing to visual generation, animation, and editing. I learned how to refine prompts, maintain visual consistency, and combine different AI tools effectively to achieve a cohesive cinematic result.
