Myanmar Booking is a digital reservation platform designed to connect users with a wide range of local merchants across Myanmar. The goal of this project was to create a seamless, fast, and secure booking experience for both customers and business owners across mobile and web platforms.
Problems
Businesses in Myanmar do not have a centralized system to manage reservations across multiple service categories (restaurants, entertainment, sports, beauty), resulting in manual workflows, fragmented booking processes, and limited operational efficiency.
Goals
To design a B2B reservation management platform that helps merchants streamline booking operations, manage customers effectively, and improve overall service efficiency.
Building a Scalable Design System
A scalable design system was created for both mobile and web, including typography, colors, and reusable components with defined interaction states. The following examples highlight the mobile design system. Standardized components and interaction patterns help developers implement features faster while maintaining consistency across the product.

Building for Diverse Merchant Needs
I designed merchant flows for multiple business types, including restaurants, beauty salons, and sports venues. The merchant platform contains more than 80 screens with workflows tailored to each business category. Since this is a large company project, I’m showcasing selected restaurant merchant screens as a representative example of the overall merchant experience.
Designing for Different Customer Needs
This project includes customer flows for beauty, restaurant, and sports bookings. As there are more than 80 screens in total, I’m highlighting selected restaurant reservation screens instead of presenting the entire project.
Creating a Seamless Customer Web Experience
I designed customer web experiences for multiple categories, including beauty, restaurants, and sports bookings. Since this is a large company project with diverse user journeys and features, I’m showcasing selected restaurant reservation screens as a representative example of the customer web experience.
Key learnings
This project helped me grow as a product designer by giving me hands-on experience in designing web and mobile platforms for both merchants and customers. Through solving complex challenges and collaborating closely with developers, I gained a deeper understanding of scalable design systems, cross-functional teamwork, and building user-centered products for large-scale systems.
